I do the remote controll thing and put a pile of
videos in front of the vcr so he can put them in. All I have to do when
I'm sick is rouse myself to hit rewind. And yes hail the
Dimetapp.

My remedy for that situation consists of a little brass plate that is a
type of child-proof lock that goes on a doorway UP HIGH, away from little
fingers. Lock the little ones into the likewise childproof nap room WITH
you so the only mess that can be made is in THAT one room and nap with a
remote control in hand and a kid-friendly video on tap........
Oh, and sick kids need Dimetapp----lots of Dimetapp, heh.

Dustin has an ear infection, and they both lost their opportunity
to go to the lake this weekend. Possibly for the rest of the summer. It is NOT
a good idea to lie down for a nap, even when the one year old is also napping,
when you are on your own with two kids. Sick one year olds wake up before sick
mommies, apparently. *looks around at her house* Ugh.
